Both this painting and Where the Children Play are dedicated to Alki Elementary School. These paintings were painted at the time of the school possibly closing in spring 2005. With my art I hoped to help keep the school open and make aware the need for freedom of school choice. 20% of proceeds from the sale of these two originals and from the prints go to Alki Elementary School.
