Public art, part of the Red Door Campaign, benefiting Gilda's Club

In the summer of 2005, a collection of beautifully designed doors, all decorated by Northwest artists, were exhibited in Seattle. The campaign invited artists to decorate the national symbol of Gilda's Club--a red door. Following public exhibition, Gilda's Club Seattle auctioned off all of the doors to the highest bidder.

The net effect of the Red Door Campaign was to ensure the future of Gilda's Club's free program where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their family and friends, build emotional support as a supplement to medical care.
